I forgot to mention this fact in my 'original' post. YES! Both of these items are included with the meter. If this Light Meter included the Neck Strap and Soft Case. Shipping and PayPal Fees are included at 'Asking Price'. Is 'just beyond me'!īoth light meters (DigiPro F, F2), still of course provide a 'Digital read-out' in 1/10 EV Steps and an 'Analog indication' in 1/2 EV Step increments. Why anyone would ever want to do this of course. Is that with the DigiPro F2 - You can change the 'Measuring Resolution'. The only difference (*that I am aware of) between this light meter (beside small 'cosmetics') and the current Gossen DigiPro F2 Light Meter ($299.99 at B&H). When the battery’s capacity becomes exhausted, the BAT symbol appears on the display as a warning that the battery has to be replaced at the earliest possible opportunity. Since the meter’s power consumption is minimal, the battery will last for a long time. One of the nice things about this light meter, is that it uses a 'readily available' (1 x 1.5 V AA) type Battery. The Digipro F operates with a 1,5 V AA-type battery (alkaline-manganese battery). Of course, the 'Instruction Manual' for the Gossen DigiPro F Light Meter is still available here: (*Isn't this what always happens - When you put things away for 'Safe-keeping')! ARRRRGH!!! The DIGIPRO F2 masters all common lighting situations for analog and digital photography, as well as filmmaking, with outstanding precision and time-tested quality.
I looked for the original Instruction Manual this morning, but could not yet locate it. In order to ensure that it was not 'DOA'.
It is still *** 'Brand NEW' in the Box (BNIB) *** and was only used once (I just 'loaded' the battery). It is looking for a good home - Where it will be used and appreciated! I purchased this Light Meter as a 'back-up' to one of my older Gossen Variosix F light meters.
